Canyoning
This activity consists in descending by the waterfall flow using ropes, arnesses and other safety equipment. Here you challenge yourself rappelling waterfalls of over 40 metres high while having fun and outface your boundaries.

The activity takes places in the waterfall La escalera, located 3 kilometers from Jardín, the trekking time is approximately 45
minutes. Optional transport $40.000 each way.
The conditions to carry out the activity are:
- Minimum age 10 years – Maximum age 60 years
- Not being pregnant
- Not being under the influence of alcohol or any type of psychoactive substances
- Do not exceed 110 kg of weight
- Do not suffer heart conditions
- You must report on surgical interventions that prevent your free movement
- Report difficulties in vision or use of lenses or glasses
- Inform if you have allergies
- Any special medical or physical situation must be previously informed
- Comfortable clothes to walk
- Comfortable shoes to walk and use in the river (not slippery and covering the ankle)

This is a hike of 11 kilometres approximately in high mountain where we’ll walk through pine and eucaliptus cultive to go into the real humid rain forest, typical in the Colombian Andes. We’ll arrive in the Salto del Ángel and Cueva de los Guácharos.

Birdwatching tour
Due to its geographical location, Jardín is a very good place for birdwatching because it has a great variety of endangered, endemic and vulnerable species.
The tour starts at 5:00 a.m. leaving towards the Alto de ventanas located to 21 km of the town (2,800 masl approximately). There we can find a great variety of hummingbirds, the Black-billed
Mountain-toucan, Yellow-eared Parrot and with some luck
also the quetzal, among many others.
In the afternoon we go to a road near town to see other birds of low lands.

Cultural tour
This is a walking tour around the square and distinctive places in town.
The tour is designed so you will see all the beauty in our colonial towns in Antioquia and get to know our culture.
We start with a coffee by the square as is tradition in Jardín and then walk around town to see different places that are somehow important. We also visit the Garrucha, a very special cable car to transport people and products from an area in the countryside to town. he tour finishes with a remarkable view of the town from the mountains.
